I remember when I was a child watching DJ play defense on magic and many others and admire his hard work.Being the only girl playing in the backyard against the guys I had to figure out how to be able to compete with the guys.The only way was to play hard defense like DJ always did.while the boys were trying to shoot like magic and bird, I was busy watching DJ play defense and how to shut the guys down. That was the only way I could make up for the difference in hieght and strength. his good defense helped me earn several defense awards in high school.forever and always in my heart DJ.
