I am thrilled that Dennis is now being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame! However,I am sorry that he didn't live to see it happen. It is long overdue. He had been nominated a couple of times since we had become friends and he would call and say he hadn't gotten in and I would be mad as hell but he would just say to me 'It's okay Coop, I will get there someday.' I am glad the someday came and I look forward to the induction ceremony. I am so happy for the Johnson family, his many friends and fans who knew this should have happened sooner but are glad that it is now being corrected!
